| | | GG, you commies always think "Everyone's happy doing what I say, one size fits all". No, nearly nobody has Starlink connection. Using Mq's price-finding mechanism [old as the hills = auctions in markets for tomatoes] millions of people would be swarming to buy Starlink devices to get reliable ubiquitous connection with high speed data at low prices.
Jeesus mau,, sshhhsh.Don’t try to spoil a good thing. Everyone’s happy,, Elon’s happy and busy.
I know you, like most people, can't consider ideas different from what you've been told, so don't expect you to even understand what I'm writing. Evidence = zero argument against it and not even any evidence that you understand what's written.
It's comfy staying in commie Stockholm Syndrome herds. Sheep, wolf packs, lions, fish schools, dolphin herds, elephant herds = many animals live in tribal mode. They necessarily have to subordinate their thinking to the boss's ideas and ideology. Death results from diverging - either by being on your own, beyond the pale, in a dangerous world, or being killed by the tribal bosses.
It's also a lot easier to use the compulsory ideas because it's impossible to get perfect ideas with one's own little 1 kg of brain power = outsourcing thinking to more knowledgeable people is essential for nearly everything. I couldn't make a pencil for example. Millions of people produce the components and a few assemble them and distribute them. I have to outsource pencil manufacturing to others. Same for nearly everything. But I have always found bringing brainpower to bear gets me great results, much better than going with the herd.
Dogs are an extreme example - totally at the whim of their owners, even bred to suit their owner's ideas of what a dog should be. Humans are part dog in that we have also been bred to fit into the tribal ideas and ways of life. That's why we aren't very much like chimps, though there are obvious likenesses - my favourite evidence was the montage of George W Bush photos and chimps using the same facial expressions.
But there are individuals who go in all directions - some imagine they can fly without wings, or stop a train with their mind, or imagine Fourier transforms to encode photons for mobile Cyberspace, or figure out that photons arrive far away at the same time they leave their source, or charge a fixed high price per month to use Starlink. I'll buy the Made in China service that sells photons via satellite at the auction price at the time I want to send photons. Starlink, like Globalstar who also refused to sell their service at a sensible price, can go bust. Those who get it right get great results. Those stopping trains with their minds are filtered from the gene pool and few copy their ideas.
Or, Elon could spend twenty seconds thinking about pricing, which he hasn't done, and tell Starlink to price it right. He's an engineer, not so much interested in marketing. But he can still understand marketing in an instant if he applies his mind briefly. That's because he operates from first principles and how things work.
Best wishes for 2025 and may your owners, leaders, and bosses keep you safe and tell you what to think and that you remain useful to them.
Recommendation - when USA takes over Canada, don't get your musket out of the attic and swear allegiance to Governor Justin, simply switch allegiance, learn The Star Spangled Banner and salute the flag. I used to tease Texaco distributor Bernie Pilon in Hawkesbury, Ontario that he wasn't French, but just another Yank - big car, American culture. You can easily go American. Overseas, people can't tell the difference between Americans and Canadians. Americans even wear Canadian flags to make travel easier [and to avoid being murdered]. Come to think of it, one rarely sees American travellers wearing USA flags. There are many Canadian flags. You can easily turn American.
Just say to yourself each morning on waking "I love Trump". Then hug your American flag. Mqurice |
