Unless he left a note, the motive is not known.
The fact that he bombed a Trump hotel with one of Musk's iconic vehicles is enough of a message to me.

Assuming that he really was MAGA, perhaps he felt betrayed.

By the way, it wasn't just a "suicide." It was an attempted mass homicide.

Fortunately for us, Trump's Vegas hotel isn't very popular (i.e. it's no Wynn or Bellagio), so not that many people were hurt.
