Watch these stocks at CES as electric vehicles and autonomous driving take center stage

CES 2025 is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas from January 7-10. One of the biggest spotlights of the world's largest tech event will be on the automobile industry, including new electric vehicle prototypes, autonomous driving updates, and futuristic infotainment displays.
Honda Motor ( HMC) will unveil two Series 0 EV prototypes, based on futuristic concepts first presented at CES last year. The 0 Series is a new global electric vehicle lineup set to launch in 2026, starting with the North American market. Developed under the approach "Thin, Light, and Wise," the Japanese automaker is looking to challenge the conventional image of EVs as thick and heavy.
Faraday Future Intelligent ( FFIE) plans to show prototypes of affordable electric vehicles under its new FX sub-brand, including the FX 5 ($20,000-$30,000) and the FX 6 ($30,000-$50,000). Shares of Faraday ( FFIE) have been gaining ahead of CES.
Sony Honda Mobility Group will share pre-order information and updates on the Afeela electric vehicle. The joint venture leverages Sony's ( SONY) expertise in imaging, sensing, artificial intelligence, and telecommunication technologies, combined with Honda's ( HMC) automotive manufacturing capabilities. Afeela plans to begin taking pre-orders in the first half of 2025 and deliver the first cars to North American customers in spring 2026.
Toyota Motor Corporation ( TM) is returning to CES 2025 with plans to make a presentation on its futuristic Woven City concept. XPeng ( XPEV) has plans to display its modular flying car called the Land Aircraft Carrier.
Hyundai ( OTCPK:HYMTF) will reveal the world's first full-windshield holographic display and BMW ( OTCPK:BMWKY) will debut the company's new Panoramic iDrive display for the Neue Klasse vehicles.
Mobileye ( INTC) will highlight its end-to-end self-driving system called Mobileye Drive and American Axle & Manufacturing ( AXL) will display driveline and powertrain technologies for electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles. Also of note, Gentex Corporation ( GNTX) will unveil the newest version of its HomeLink car-to-home automation system at CES.
On the autonomous driving front, Waymo ( GOOG) ( GOOGL) co-CEO Tekedra Mawakana will deliver a keynote speech discussing the future of autonomous vehicles and have a booth showcasing real-world advancements in autonomous driving through interactive demonstrations.
Garmin ( GRMN) will display an updated state-of-the-art domain controller that integrates various systems, including driver monitoring for autonomous features.
Auto industry supplier Continental ( OTCPK:CTTAF) ( OTCPK:CTTAY) will display its comprehensive portfolio of vehicle technologies and innovations at CES 2025. AEye ( LIDR) will showcase its ultra-long range, small form factor Apollo LiDAR sensor. Meanwhile, Oshkosh Corporation ( OSK) will make its debut at CES 2025 by showing off its advancements in electrification, artificial intelligence, autonomy, connectivity, and advanced analytics. |
