<<That said, I wasn't sure that this merger was the best move for GT because I didn't see a lot of value in the brands Microprose (MP) owned. MP doesn't have a solid claim to the Civilization name, since Activision is also claiming rights to that name. MP hasseveral Star Trek games lined up, I believe, but those are licenses, which means there future is in question, plus MP must pay a license fee (meaning less profits off these titles). MP didn't seem to have an abundance of quality developers--most larger publishers that have internal development don't, since most cream-of-the-crop developers desire to run their own companies or be part of a smaller, focused developer house.>>>

Scott I enjoy reading your comments..that being said, I think it was GTIS who was getting the deal not MPRS (I would like to note I am a MPRS stockholder, but I try to present objective opinions)

Have you seen the previews of M1 tank platton 2
an internally developed prodect..

Falcon 4 "pushed back again" :( is raising it's multiplayer capabilities from 16 to 720..

Guardians agents of justice internally developed..the game I can't wait to play along with baulders gate from interplay..

They have alot more games, but you can read the MPRS thread if you want..

As for GTIS..I can't say for sure where they are headed..The qtr's
revenue was much better then I anticipated...but everyone seems
to be headed to g.o.d.
Unreal will be great, but no unreal N64
and Max Payne is being published by g.o.d.
