Calling all sleuths. I'm trying to figure out what might be triggering
my atrial fibrillation. After going AF free for 2 years I've had 5 episodes
in the last two months.

I'm stumped as is my cardiologist. I'm able to self medicate with Amiodarone
and get it converted in about 12 hours but it really leaves me drained for a day or
two afterwards. Still, it almost certainly beats electo-conversion so I'll take it.

Any ideas out there? Thank you kindly.

It almost always happens within a few hours of dinner regardless of whether it's a
big dinner or small, alcohol or not. It doesn't appear to be blood sugar related,
I'm a type 2 Diabetic, I checked my sugar while in AF last night and it was golden
at 70. I take supplemental magnesium but lab tests always show it square in the middle
of the range so it's probably not that. BP is well regulated and A1c runs about mid 6.
That's all I have.
