Chrystia Freeland was the brains of the Trudeau government and as Minister of International Trade she out-foxed Trump in 2016. Crystia Freeland quit as Trudeau's Finance Minister, bringing down the government, when Justin appeared willing to give Trump the trade concessions she had won. Maybe a Conservative Canadian government will be willing to sell out Canadians and their economy like Trudeau seemed willing to do for Trump ? — We'll see. Freeland knew there was no advantage for Canadians in continuing on this course, so time to change the negotiator. If Conservatives are stupid enough to agree to Trump's demands, at least Canadians will give them the blame. But Conservatives might even find a new way to out-game the slow-witted Trump by appealing to his ego and his need to claim a quick "victory", even when reality supports the opposite conclusion. Trump's Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was delighted to give away the store to a charming Chrystia Freeland
