Uber Technologies (NYSE: UBER) entered a strategic partnership with Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) aimed at accelerating the development of AI-powered autonomous driving technology.

This collaboration will leverage Uber's ( UBER) vast data from millions of daily trips alongside Nvidia's ( NVDA) advanced platforms, specifically the Cosmos and DGX Cloud systems.

One of the goals of this collaboration is to democratize access to advanced AI development tools, reducing both cost and resource barriers for companies working on autonomous vehicle technology.

“Generative AI will power the future of mobility, requiring both rich data and very powerful compute,” said Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber ( UBER). “By working with NVIDIA, we are confident that we can help supercharge the timeline for safe and scalable autonomous driving solutions for the industry.”

Uber ( UBER) stock traded 1.01% higher on Monday during after market hours of trading.
