Here's the patent!

BTW, it's lapsed, so if you want to build one of these things you probably will not get sued!

Neighbors might not like you though (but who cares about that)!

patents.google.com

I skimmed through the gobbledy gook, dwelling on some parts.

At first I thought - wow that's cute, they're using microwaves to generate a charge separation or dipolar effect to induce propulsion.

Nah, they're invoking other crap to muck it up.

Evidently, they seem to have discovered one of the "holy grails" (so to speak) of physics -
the unified field theory which Einstein was unable to do.

Poor gravity was left out of Einstein's unity.

A grave thing - all the other forces are one except gravity.

Now the patent - perhaps upon closer reading I will see something different, but I doubt it:

I'm sure a particle physicist will one day read the patent and kick themselves in the butt for not thinking of it - or more likely, will read it and die laughing on the floor uncontrollably.

Electromagnetic fields have never been demonstrated to interact with "gravitational fields". Gravitation which are "fields" only to first approximation - upon further more precise examination, they are curvatures of space-time, as described by Einstein.

But according to this, they are not space time curvatures, they are fields.

What a discovery!

Poor Einstein!
In any event, for the public record -
let's see if I am wrong -
I do keep an open mind but would say that the probably of this device working
by the mechanisms proposed in the patent (i.e., ZPE),

is far less likely than cold fusion being viable.

Or me winning the lotto.

Would be fascinating if this did work (and by the mechanisms proposed).

BTW on a different but somewhat related subject,

did you know that perpetual motion devices ARE possible?

There are some, while not 100% perpetual motion, are pretty close.

(You might have even encountered one, without knowing it.
I leave it as a difficult exercise to figure out - hint - it is not used for it's "perpetual motion" properties)

However, if you try to extract work (or in other words, energy) from one of these devices, then it loses energy and is no longer perpetual motion - or it is until you extract more energy until it stops moving.
Darn - physics is saved.
