Thank you. Interesting timing for this advice because this the what I am working on today (and past several days). One of the ways to get around this problem is via diversification. I've learned that lesson the hard way. Another is to make your trades based on trailing percent moves or if your broker allows you to, based on trailing ATR. As you have pointed out, trailing stops are useless for biotechs. But the exercise opens one's eye to the risks. Anyways, I had literally no funds to trade with because everything was reserved for GTC buy orders. But after today I actually have plenty of funds to allocate to new opportunities :((
