Hmmm. I don't know now ...

The tingling has developed into a new bloom on the lower lip like before. The bromelain is doing something by itself. The lip would be vulnerable since its skin is thin and bromelain is indiscriminate about what it goes after.

This new brand has a higher GDU strength, so that is likely a factor. Another one is that this formulation clumped up in the mouth and took longer to dissolve. That would mean it was in contact with the skin for longer.

It's not all that uncomfortable, and it will clear up pretty much by tomorrow. It's like a science experiment.

I'll have to swallow them whole, or mix it with food to avoid this issue.
