There is a big difference between Trump during his first term and now. A lot of people resented him for his insults back then. He is not insulting anyone anymore. Trump is telling it like it is, very calmly and straightforward. It sure doesn't hurt that he has been right about everything. What sounded like way out there over 4 years ago turned out to be the truth.

Now he is talking with the calm assurance of a leader.

People overlook things when you have proven yourself.
