I just read the 1- and 2-star reviews of several bromelain brands on Amazon. They all have complaints of serious negative effects.

Last year I tried using the Dr.'s Best brand against floaters. I didn't get very far. It gave me an uneasy stomach.

I have been taking bromelain twice a day for three years. It's in my anti-Covid Quercetin product from Solgar, but it's just 2000 GDU. Doesn't seem to bother me.
