Christine.. late night hosting of your thread. Ok, I just got in from a pretty good party, even if it was a bunch of scientists with humor that needed six glasses of wine to go into solution. I'm not that far removed from having fun so its always interesting drawing people out a little.. much like you on your thread.

Samdam.. playing it the way he should to win. What we're afraid of in Iraq is a democratic general uprising of the people as occured a few years ago with the Kurds. They had united their various factions through an electorial process and were preparing to wage a northern border war with our backing but we pulled out at the last minute... Why.. because a democratic uprising would spread in the region to cause major havoc in Saudi Arabia.

Clinton.. its just a weekend timeout until Starr finds someone else to dig into the whitehouse with. It won't go away until he strikes paydirt, it gets passed to Judiciary, and Congress refuses to do anything... or Starr gets the boot for having supported Tripps illegal wire taps and other marginal behavior that is too unpopular.

Yes Israel is in violation, has unwittingly created its own Gulag ghetto for the PLO, has not taken the pluralist road out of centric thinking. Who knows what will happen? Its the point at which God's Faiths' come together like pincers.
