More fires require prior rainy years.

But I know the climate crowd was saying back in 2013/4 that they were never going to get any more rain because of the consecutive years of below avg rainfall.

Either way, they knew there was high potential because of the new underbrush and choose not to fund mitigation efforts to reduce the risk and prepare for them. Budgets should have been funded not driven to other resources.

Now they will have to live with the consequences.

Too bad, while I know and work with some that are effected. I try and stay away from politics at a business level, but after talking with them they know the reasons. I was surprised to see how many ripped Newsom for his policies, nobody was talking about Bass.
