At the end of the 3rd quarter Fonar stated:

Item 2. MANAGEMENT'S DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL CONDITION
AND RESULTS OF OPERATIONS

For the first nine months of fiscal 1996, the Company reported a net
income of $644,000 on revenues of $11.0 million as compared to a net loss
of $1.0 million on revenues of $11.8 million for the corresponding period of
the prior fiscal year.

So the revenue in the 4th quarter was $2.1 million but they lost $4 million to wipe out the
positive $600,000+. Their cash on hand of over $3 million is a drop of $1.7 mill. I've played
this game. You drop 97 expenses into 96 so when you do the 97 numbers everything looks
fantastic. Watch first quarter 97 will look great with profit and a strong gross margin.
Oh, the increase in backlog from $2+ to $6. One year of sales on the Quad. This is basis for
$100 million this year?

This release still not on either BW or PR wire. Assume it will pop up by Monday. SEC filing
probably available late Monday. Now what was the theory that they held back on the numbers
because they didn't want to look too strong during the trial?

Oh well another Fonar buying opportunity coming up.
