There are also crews and equipment already in California from BC, Ontario, and Quebec and more on the way, mostly very specialized for the type of fires now being fought. That super scooper plane that was taken out by a civilian drone is from Quebec. I remember driving down that ocean side highway through Topanga about 40 years ago. It is shocking to see it reduced to kilometre after kilometre of burned out ruins. Keep in mind that Canada is sending all this help even as Trump threatens to destroy our economy and annex us. Talk about a contrast, heroes vs. scumbag. LC
