Now to debunk several lies promoted for political purposes around here.

THERE IS NO SHAORTAGE OF WATER SUPPLIES.

The reason that video showed a lack of water in one location is that the infrastructure was designed only to fight structure fires, not wildfires, and on top of that, a large reservoir was closed for maintenance because they didn't have to worry about fires this time of year, at least until recently.

It is also a lie to say that available reservoirs were not accessed for water due to environmental restrictions. As I said, there is plenty of water available from closer reservoirs. This lie is ideological in nature, part of a larger campaign against all environmental restrictions of any type.
