During a May long weekend, one camping trip only, about seven of us did parasailing on the northwest beach with a boat from the south shore of the lake. I was able to get up ok leaving the beach but was not able to go back to the beach as the wind at that time was blowing the wrong way resulting in a splashdown and being pulled a short distance. Experiences varied.
