Went to see the, "Sphere" tonight. My honest opinion is that the book is far superior to the movie. Also, Dustin Hoffman was all wrong for the lead role. It was very hard to take him seriously. I had this feeling all though the movie, "when does it really start". Not one of Sharon Stone's best efforts either. The characters were so one dimensional and never really fulfilled the promise of the book. None of them really got into their characters in any depth. Frankly, I was disappointed in the movie, but sometimes after reading the book first, this happens. Carol
