According to historical record WR, Robin Hood did exist. <<However the first known literary reference to Robin Hood and his men was in 1377, and the Sloane manuscripts in the British Museum have an account of Robin’s life which states that he was born around 1160 in Lockersley>> Robin Hood - Fact or Fiction? Another true story: I kept hearing about Ayn Rand about 20 odd years ago, after I had returned to the UK. I decided to get a copy of her book from the Library. None available. The library had a computer system where books could be retrieved from other Libraries. No copies anywhere, zero, zilch anywhere in the country. That's the UK for you.
