The policy was made at II that any stock that they or their parent company had a stake in they would NOT include in the Magic 25 or make recommendations on. That actually means that Biotime and a few other stocks that would have been on the 1998 list were not included because of this new policy. If only Asencio et al. had the same mindset the world would be a better place. BTW, I have registered numerous complaints with NASDAQ regarding traders making statements while not divulging there personal interests in the very same issues.

I believe what Crossen is saying about the valuation of BTIM does not necessarily hinge on Hextend being a revolutionary product. He may very well be basing his statement on Hextend being just a notch or two better - but enough to take a good share of the market.
