Attempt 3. If anybody else has the time and would like a scan for when a signal line breach on a target line setup occurs, give it a try on Grok. It should be able to code for TradingView, Metastock, ThinkorSwim and others.
Instructions include how to designate a local top (no higher price for at least 8 trading days before or after but preferably at least 13) and local low (no lower price for at least 8 trading days before or after but preferably at least 13). Circle a few on any chart and show it to Grok so it can grok the granularity. (or copy chart at the very bottom of this post)
Specify the order of the count for local lows and highs and that it's counted backward in time. Bearish is what I'm working with now so, L1, L2, T1, T2. T2 must be higher than L2. If the 2 Ls come after the high, they must be the first two local lows that follow T1 If there's just 1 L after the high, the first local low after the high is selected. It's also possible for the one or both of the Ls to come before the high. T2 is usually prior to the high before the correction/crash or it may be the high. T1 may come before the high or it may be the high. It would come after the high if T2 is at the high.
The target line is drawn from the high of T2 to the low of L2 and extended into the future.
The signal line for bearish is a horizontal at the low of the lowest reaching L extending into the future. This is what the scan will look for.
Then show Grok the current target line chart on DJI as an example of the construction and ask it to apply the technique, looking for best fit to the eventual bottom for each of the 8 market events listing dates for L1, L2, T1, T2.

If it needs another example use: (A nasty one)

Meanwhile...working with the blind...
I'll reassess each event and revise the placement of L1, L2, T1, and T2 according to the examples you provided. Please give me a moment to re-analyze the data. Would you like me to provide the revised dates for each event? yes
