Oh please! Do you not know your history?

Humans were very cruel and life was very hard until we discovered democracies, and the rule of law.

Do you not know that?

Do you not know how terrible life was before we had democracy and the rule of law?

Before democracies, the rich and powerful made the rest of the people live in poverty and fear.

There was no reliable law, and the rich could come in the dark of night and take you away never to be heard from again!

Which is why our founding fathers put in habeas corpus first thing!

And you, nor anyone else e.g. the rich or dictators, gets to say what government should do, or be!!!!!

That is the whole point of a democracy---ONLY the PEOPLE get to say what kind of government they want by majority rule.

Before democracy every country in earth was run by dictators, kings or tribal chiefs, and they killed and tortured and forced people into abject poverty.

Do you want to go back to that?
