| | | | Hard to apply logic to some situations. Had I known what I know now about PSS, I'm not sure I would have ever invested in this stock, on purely ethical reasons. There are far too many opportunities out there to "get in bed" with the devil. I'm far too old and fortunately far to wealthy to get into investments with guys like PSS. Having said that, my decision to get into IBRX and build on my position were made purely on the science, as I do with all biotech investments. Too many strange types in biotech, IMO. I have nothing but good feelings about IBRX, other than the owners ethics and the fact that PSS is getting punished by the street for his outsize holdings and entrepeneurial approach to communications. Neither of these, ultimately, will hurt the stock in the long term. In fact, the stock is at a very attractive price right now, both for entry and for add ons. IF I wanted more, now would be a good time. My position, however, is quite large, and it won't make much difference to me in the long run if I were to add, which in my mind validates staying put, given my disdain for PSS. I highly doubt I will add any more. As you know, many of us did unusually well with IMMU, in spite of the founder and his very charming wife. I do not think IBRX will approach that level in the short term, but I do think it will do very well going forward. LONG ANSWER to your questions, but you deserve it, given our long history together. I do not suggest that anyone take the same view of PSS as me. Frankly, I don't give a d.... I however, have my own reasons for the feelings I have about PSS and many like him. I'm glad that I base my biotech investments purely on science, price point, etc. and not the founder or leader. My thoughts are exactly that, and its worked well for me, especially over many years of investing, owning, and managing some major companies. Once again, sorry for the long wind. Best and IMO only. |
