There have been climate disasters we have fixed, such as the Dust Bowl, acid rain, and the ozone holes at the poles caused by CFCs. From my point of view, they hide the cause of the problem, which is too many industrialized, resource consuming humans on the planet driven by mega-corporations that exist only to produce ever increasing quarterly share prices, or at least never post losses.
They have gifted us with convenient plastic packaging for their products, as well as the lie that the packaging is recycled. Which becomes micro-plastic particles, which are in everything.
Our society is actually very frail, as way too many people live in cities, supplied by trains planes and trucks. We've seen where that leads in the zombie shows and movies - when it breaks down, who're you gonna eat? |
