<<Why are you doing that?>>

The trust has already gone.

When the government trusts the people it works for, and respects them, trust should come back.

I would be happy to see that happen.

The rule of Law needs to work.

For the Law to work, the Patriot Act and all the surveillance of citizens at home, who are not typically a security threat, needs to stop.

The Law has been abused for political purposes. That is a complete no no. As has the "de banking" of citizens. The circus with Trump and the Jan 6th thing was just that: A circus and it was all planned.

As said, what makes the West "The West" is our mutual legal network of English Common Law. It's essentially Left Wing, puts power in the little guys hands through the jury system. Not perfect by any means but superior to other legal systems. Over time it's been a big winner, enabling the strongest nations to emerge. That is an important point to take note of.

To me, I have been seeing a systematic destruction of that legal system and strength. For example, the Patriot Act. The censorship and the "fact checkers". The whole centralist control theme; that is what has destroyed trust in the government and the medical authorities.
