It’s clear that the justices are losing the trust of the American people at the hands of a gaggle of fawning billionaires.”

That historically has always been a danger. Supreme Court Justices bending to the will of the ruling class, no matter who they are, rich oligarchs, nazis, or communists.

The Common Law system is tilted towards the common people. The Supreme Court Justices have the power to make the correct decisions, as best they are able. It is not a perfect system by any means, just the better system.

So highlighting corrupt practices is good, but there are other things too.

The "de banking" phenomenon is a huge injustice. The Canadian Truckers persecution for example. That is zero justice. The whim of some bureaucrat or politician removing the ability of a citizen from living day to day, paying their bills. This problem has become commonplace in the UK as well. I have zero trust in any politician until someone stops that entirely. Nips it in the bud. Who the fuk do they think they are?

That would be a far more important thing to look at imho. Some judges receiving gifts, sure it looks bad, but overstated in the perspective of the crimes that are happening today.
