On the competitive threat, there was no mention of patents or better performing materials. He talked about having a close working relationship with their customers while acknowledging more competitors which I take as not just Summer Sprout. Agreed. There were specific things he might have talked about if he wanted to send a message to investors/customers and he avoided them. The normal pugilistic line would have been that they'll aggressively defend their patent position everywhere. Close customer relationships will mean absolutely nothing if Summer Sprout has a competitive product. It's pretty much a given that they'll be cheaper. On blue, he agreed to the "months not years" line when pressed but he was clearly wanting to reframe it as "when not if" which removes timing expectations. It was definitely noticeable that he didn't bring up the months timeline on his own. OTOH, is this the first time that they've characterized progress in any way beyond being "pleased" with it? Maybe I'm grasping at straws since I've wanted some update on progress for years now.
