I think that move was on the cards as the five year lease was due to expire first Jan. Russian gas supply to Europe via Ukraine halted after transit deal expires \| Russia-Ukraine war News \| Al Jazeera So they decided that it just means the customers just have to pay more. Too bad, more tax too as VAT is applied. The customers would be people like me. I have been told it is just Russian Green House gases that causes Global Warming and Ukrainian casualties while making Putin even richer. So I have to starve more in the cold, but this means I am helping save the planet (and Ukraine) -g-
