Rob,
First, the stock acted terribly Friday and there were a small number of options expiring, so that didn't explain the weakness. Then, the release after the close..... Second, my impression is the majority of opinions expressed in response to the "offer" were that it was ridiculous. If one doesn't believe management can deliver shareholder value in the future, then sell and move on to something with potential. If you want to take a risk for a potentially large gain, grit your teeth and hang on and it might be a great ride. By the way, it's terribly misleading for USinternetworking to comment on the short term movement in IIXC. All of those stocks are doing very well right now. No need to try to mislead PSI holders with an inference that the PSI deal did wonders for the IIXC stock. Management has, in at least two public forums in the last couple of months (one last week),stated a commitment to double revenues this year. My impression is management has guided analysts to the years 2000 and 2001 for the earnings harvest on what they are doing today. So, why don't we just watch the progress and give them hell if they don't deliver? And if they do deliver, we'll have a lot of fun in the stock and congratulate ourselves on how brilliant WE were.
Sorry Kate and David, investors never think that management is smart and investors are the dumbest people alive in management's eyes. It's always been that way.
