The engine looks interesting. Cummins R2.8 L Turbo Diesel Review – R2.8 Cummins Engine as does the 4BT model. Trucks are probably better for an enthusiast renovation project. You have more space and heavy gauge metal to play with. How about later models, outside the "fashion" range ? I drove a Bronco II for ages, amazing machine, and bought it back to the UK. For a number of reasons I had to part with it. It was not by choice though. I watch this channel occasionally, purely for the entertainment The engine compartment on the Scout looks cramped for the size of engine in it.
