The point is, 38 years later, the latest SpaceX loss appears to be from a seal failure similar to the one the Challenger experienced.
I have my doubts about the veracity of that report.

But if what you're saying is accurate, that would be akin to me missing a bug in the design of a computer chip that resembles that of Pentium FDIV.

Except I'd be thanking God that the latest bug wasn't found after the chip went into full production and is being used by customers all around the world.
