I think that currency boards are frauds. I think gold standards are frauds. And, I think
the current monetary system is a fraud.

The problem is as I see it government involvement with money. As long as a gov't sets
a standard a gov't can change a standard. It is my opinion that gov't should be out of
the role of any type of monetary management

The proper monetary system is the one that private citizens want to use. If the choice
of money is gold, fine. If silver, fine. If tobacco, fine. The important thing is that the
choice of money be completely voluntary. Any type of coercion is wrong and proves
that the motives of the coercers is improper.

Gold has a history of use and so I expect that gold would be the choice.
