There are lot of reports about Musk doing lots of things. Pretty meaningless, as a general rule.

OTOH, it is my view that exposure to mind-altering substances can be a sort of passage for some people that permits an understanding of the world that is impossible to grasp without having experienced that. Musk is a highly creative individual and as such it would not shock me if he has used substances that conveyed perspectives you cannot get out of just living life.

Having or not having done acid may be the most important difference between Tim Cook and Steve Jobs. It is definitely the difference between the Beatles music before and after Rubber Soul.

I'm not recommending it, just stating the facts. I would not condemn anyone for experimentation with safe substances in a proper environment.
