Dale,

Thank you for this informative post. It has been one of just a few on this thread lately. While many people have said that they think that earnings will be .02 or less, no one has shown any raw data.

While many people have focused on the threat of DVD's and recordable cds, I believe there is another threat to the JAZ drive. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but basically, what the JAZ drive offers is an alternative to the hard drive, which can be infinitely upgradable. However, with Terrabyte hard drives already for sale in some major stores like Best Buy, why would people bother with 1 Gigabyte disks???
Now, people still will need backup options, like the Ditto, but as far as IOMG's other products--are they really needed?
The one thing that could save the JAZ is its portability. It is a terrific feature to be able to remove the disks, and bring them to another computer's drive.

P.S.
This is so obvious, but it has not been mentioned. Is there a reason that it is not a threat to current and futire products?

Brian
