Because you know, fukk the Constitution. Why bother going through the amendment process when you can unilaterally redefine what the 14th amendment means?

This executive order is going to be immediately challenged, then brought to the Supreme Court.

And all Trump needs to do is "persuade" five justices to see things his way.

It's the most blatant form of Orwellianism I've ever seen. After all, if the 14th amendment can easily be redefined like this, so can every other amendment in the Constitution, including the 1st and 2nd amendments.

And for what? Stopping the "scourge" of anchor babies that are supposedly bringing this nation down?
