I'm with you on that—I do see the resemblance. David Byron was a great singer in his own right. The Stealin' track you posted is actually the first Uriah Heep song I ever heard, and that lyric 'wine and women gonna put me in an early grave' feels sadly prophetic. Byron’s passing due to alcohol-related complications at 38 was such a tragic loss.
