If Trump is going to put a 25% tariff on Canadian heavy crude, now delayed until Feb 01st, it is because he is busy arranging heavy crude supplies from amongst the other 30 heavy crude oil producing countries that would dearly love to displace Canada as a supplier. If so, then tanker demand should increase by about 4 to 4.5 million barrles/day, and certain pipeline companies will be great shorts.
