Your oriental mind cannot grasp the difference between concept and doctrine.

The concept of original sin—the idea that humanity is inherently marked by sin due to the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden—predates the Catholic Church and has its roots in the Bible.

St. Augustine of Hippo (4th-5th century): Augustine was pivotal in shaping the doctrine of original sin. He argued that Adam’s sin was transmitted to all humanity, making everyone born with a sinful nature. His ideas were influential in Western Christianity, including Catholicism.

The term "original sin" itself does not appear in the Bible. It was later theologians who synthesized these ideas into a formal doctrine.

The Catholic Church adopted and formalized Augustine's views on original sin. The doctrine became a cornerstone of Catholic theology, especially regarding baptism, which is believed to cleanse individuals of original sin.

The notion of humanity's inherent sinfulness begins with the story of Adam and Eve in Genesis 3, where they disobey God and are expelled from the Garden of Eden. This event is interpreted as the origin of sin entering the world.

Paul elaborates on the idea in Romans 5:12-19, where he discusses how sin and death entered the world through Adam, and salvation comes through Jesus Christ.
