FC,
The problem with you Bill is you do not think.
Not just Bill, but all of MAGA in general. None of them can think for themselves.

To them, it's all about power. Just like they accused liberals of doing over the past two decades, they themselves have turned into the new "say anything do anything for power" party.

Hence, they will change their own thoughts and their own positions to match whatever Dear Leader tells them to think.

For example, look at how many MAGA cultists, after repeating the nO nEw wArS mantra over and over again, all of a sudden become militant imperialists now that Trump has expressed interest in conquering Panama and Greenland.

They're acting like this was the plan all along, when in reality Trump NEVER ran on an imperialist platform. Indeed, recent polling shows scant support for taking over Greenland (16%) and the Panama Canal (29%) (scroll down to the last section of this article):

Exclusive: Trump starts new term with 47% approval; Jan. 6 pardons unpopular, Reuters/Ipsos poll finds (Reuters)

But that doesn't matter to the MAGA cultists. After all, "Trump won. Kamala lost. Get over it."

They believe they're in charge now, so why should they burden themselves with independent thought?
