I've always wanted to talk to a TV weatherperson. We don't get a lot of snow and ice around here. When we do they always talk about amounts in tenths of an inch. We expect three tenths of an inch tonight. Thing is in my toolbox all the rulers are in eights and sixteenths. I go to the hardware store and ask for a ruler in tenths and they just stare. They can order one somewhere they guess. I assume they make them but I've never met anyone that has one. Of course in the same broadcast they use tenths and then switch to quarters. We expect a quarter of inch by 6 pm and then three quarter of an inch by 9 and maybe a tenth inch of ice to cover that. LoL. Anyway I would like to talk to one of them sometime.
