Wolfspeed never managed to finalize the terms of their Chips Act grant. The announcement in October was for preliminary terms and while a number of companies announced final terms in the last week of the outgoing administration, Wolfspeed wasn't one of them. $750m worth of grants and another $750m in loans are at risk. They are in deep trouble without those funds.
