Why would they not call preferreds that pay 10%? I guess it means they can't issue less expensive preferreds to repurchase the existing 10% preferreds? Maybe, but I guess that indicates the level of risk in CIM.

I got these guys because back in the Covid panic of March 2020, I was able to buy CIM-D preferreds and short CIM common, both for $8.

Seemed a no brainer, I wish I had done more.
