Great Site JZ! I think you bring up a very interesting point that I have been thinking about also. This sector is the exception (for the most part) in that while the stock prices have been cut almost in half, the earnings estimates CONTINUE to be revised upward. I would expect that by now we would get some negative revisions to go along with the negative price action, IF there were a problem with the fundamentals. (The Land Drillers being a notable exception). I've added boats and fabrication (rig construction)companies to the site: rgdoczzz.home.texas.net TMAR surely has the lowest valuation now and forward 2 years of all the boats I now follow (TDW, GMRK, HMAR, CKH) but it is also the smallest (translate riskiest). In addition almost all the boats are in the GOM right? where the competition is the greatest. GMRK is smaller and sports double the PE, but their boats are in SEAsia & NSea with much less competition (& I would assume greater demand). I'm getting a lot of buy signals on the short stochastics, I'm expecting a very good week. The chart of the week shows all the stocks with buy signals. Plan on making some short term long trades Monday.
