Extent 22-Jan is 12,869,959 km2,
an increase in extent of 83,804 km2
which is 43,125 km2 more than the 10 year 5 day running average of 40,679 km2
Extent is second lowest in satellite record, 184k above 2018 in #1 and 31k below 2006 in #3 (not shown in graph)
