Bonefish,
No, they ate excited to get the dei and woke out of the military. Recruiting up big
Where are you seeing this?

A quick search on Google produced the following:

Recruitment Rises 12.5% Despite Ongoing Challenges (Defense.gov)

That article was written on October 31, 2024, before Dear Leader won the election.

Looks like recruitment, just like the overall economy, was already going back up under the final year of Brandon.

As for whether "Two Drink Minimum" Hegseth can further increase recruitment by eliminating DEI and "woke," that remains to be seen.

Personally I don't think DEI and "woke" affects recruitment all that much, nor does it affect our combat readiness.

What does affect recruitment, however, are pay, benefits, and recommendations from vets. From 2022:

Fewer Veterans are Recommending Military Service (VFW.org)

If we vastly improve the VA, for example, recruiting will go up big time. Right now no vet I know of has anything good to say about the VA.

As for pay and benefits, consider this. California recruiters, for example, have to compete with the state minimum wage of $20/hour for fast food joints.
