When people get promoted ahead of you based on dei and woke. People get out and recruiting drops off.
There's always a measure of politics behind promotions.

Look at "Two Drink Minimum" Hegseth, for example. He got "promoted" ahead of every general and colonel in the military based on his anti-DEI and anti-woke positions.
