qdog: I found 2. US Patent No. 5,640,414 (issued in 97) and 5,267,261 (issued in 93). Both of these deal with soft handoff. What else are some issues of W-CDMA that Qcom is claiming that their patents protect, thus causing their competitors to license? dave
