All the liberal countries are democracies!! And in a democracy if the people want socialism, then what's the issue? You cannot say that about conservative countries! Most of them are dictatorships of sorts. A democracy means the people are free to do whatever they want-freedom to choose their leaders and social system, and freedom of the press, to read and say what you want. Would you rather have a capitalistic dictatorship, like Russia!!??
