Some Stats from the storm that just hit Ireland and Scotland... Possibly the most intense bombing I have seen -- the central pressure dropped 36mb in 5 hours. The wind speeds were the highest ever recorded in Ireland, and at one point more than half the homes on the Emerald Isle were without power. LC
